Dr. Kimberlee Kiehl currently serves as the Senior Vice President for Operations & Experience at COSI. In this role she has oversight of the daily operations of the building, exhibits, education programs, research and evaluation, diversity and inclusion, and various other special projects that create and maintain irresistible visitor experiences, both in the COSI building and across Ohio communities.
Prior to coming to COSI she held the position of Director, Museum of Ohio Project at the Ohio History Connection. In this position she worked with Ohio History Connection staff and leadership, public and private leaders across the state, and numerous Ohioans to shape the content and programs of the envisioned Museum of Ohio, including leading the development of the Ohio: Champion of Sports exhibit to open in March 2019. From 2012-2016, Dr. Kiehl served as Executive Director of the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center (SEEC). SEEC has 11 classrooms located within the walls of the Smithsonian museums and serves 135 children who use the museums and their exhibits as a vital piece of their daily curriculum.
